I'm Lisa Travis, the founder of Jungle Red Salon. With over 25 years of experience as a stylist, I'm genuinely passionate about creating a space where every guest feels part of our community. I want you to feel welcome, pampered, and completely at ease whenever you enter our doors. My goal is to provide each guest with an exceptional experience from the moment you walk in, to the moment you leave.

People often ask me about the name "Jungle Red." It's inspired by the 1939 film "The Women." In the movie, the trendy and popular nail polish color used in the salon was "Jungle Red!" I thought it was a fitting name for our salon: unique, memorable, and a little bit daring... just like us.

  • Hey, I’m Alyssa! I’ve been in the hair industry since 2022 and I have absolutely loved every second of it. One of my favorite things about being a cosmetologist is that I am able to make people feel beautiful and confident in themselves while also creating strong and meaningful bonds with my clients.

    I love all things hair. This includes barber cuts, highlights, lived in color, and so much more. I am also certified in hand tied extensions, tape in extensions and Brazilian blowouts and I love the beautiful transformative looks that those services bring.

    Outside of the salon, I love to spend time with my family, friends, and my fiancé. I also love watching movies, hiking and being outside, and hanging out with my cat Cleo and my puppy Zeke.

  • Hey there! With 15 years of experience in the hair industry, I'm a true color enthusiast. I've earned certifications like Redken Specialist, Redken Color Authority, and Redken Color. The NY Redken Exchange and being inducted as a Redken Artist were incredible milestones for me.

    I'm always hungry for knowledge — during the COVID shutdown, I took the Redken 'Color and Know Why' course. Sharing my expertise and mentoring fellow stylists is where my heart lies; I love to watch their careers flourish.

I’m also certified in Brazilian blowouts and tape-in extensions, offering even more ways to help you achieve your dream hair.

Originally from Louisiana, my husband's Air Force career led us to Italy and Virginia before settling in Springboro, Ohio, in 2019. During our time in Italy, I studied Hair Fashion in Milan. With over 20 years of experience in the industry, I specialize in precision and razor cuts, dimensional color, and expertly blending grey hair.

    My passion lies in creating lived-in colors and cuts that effortlessly fit into the busy lifestyles of my clients. Attention to detail is my forte. What I love most about the hair industry is its ever-evolving nature, constantly introducing new styles and techniques that inspire me.

    I am a level 6 stylist—the highest level at Jungle Red—demonstrating my expertise and commitment to my craft. I take pride in mentoring new hairstylists; I helped establish Jungle Red's renowned associate program in 2018.

There, I studied the French precision hair-cutting technique, adding that perfect touch of movement and flow to every style.

    Being licensed in both Arizona and Ohio, I've had the privilege of sharing my expertise in colors, cuts, and blowouts with my guests.   • Hey there, I'm Meredith! It's been an exciting adventure for me at Jungle Red since September 2022. I'm thrilled to be part of this team as a Level 3 stylist and a Trainer in our Associate Training Program: honing my skills and creating stunning looks for my clients.

    Blonding and extensions are my favorite! There's something magical about transforming hair into beautiful, sun-kissed shades and adding that extra length and volume with extensions. I'm a massive fan of creating those gorgeous, lived-in colors that exude confidence.

  • Hi! My name is Peyton. I started at Jungle Red in 2022 right after graduating beauty school at Aveda Institute, Columbus. Being in the beauty industry has been something I’ve been interested in for as long as I can remember. Aside from being a stylist, I love all of the things that come with it..... building new relationships, talking (of course) and making EVERYONE feel great about themselves!

    I love working with effortless lived-in color and picking apart every detail of inspiration photos. Short hair cuts are my jam! I am up for any curve ball thrown at me and absolutely love a challenge!
